The Reception and Party Sunday
This night GM rested for a few good hours as well as the rest of the team. In order for GM To come to South America He had to travel with 5 assistants, which in turn could teach others on how to take care devoted to GM properly. For this I did many night shifts and day, which began that same night, and Prabhu P. Pundarika Maha Bahu who met very well with the service being attentive to all that was required to make for good rest and health of GM . The rest of the day Sunday it was the turn of Balarama das p.RahuSimha and Madhava.
Also during the day Raghunath das Dvija and JayaNarada Mun went to meet GM. In addition to this service, Jaya Narada Muni and his family made all arrangements to facilitate their home to suit GM as GM might be all week with his team at their home.
In fact their home became the “JPS Operations Center” since resided there with his traveling staff , GM could also use their Nupstep, a machine similar to a bike but in miniature. It could be used as disciples or devotees interviews office in general. While his secretaries were also organizing the services, programming a week, shifts, bhoga purchases, etc, always managing something operationally necessary.
The kitchen department was preparing the prasadam to GM and also staging the prasadam to everyone, adding that the staff of GM’s local devotees who were working in the service and who was at that time there came to be a devoted crew of 15 . Fortunately we served prasadam to everyone every day, this was by the help of Prabhus JayaGopaRaja, Amara Gouranga, JayaNarada, Trivikrama, dd m.MahaBhakti Paramgati and who lovingly helped with this service from their restaurants.
Getting all this Operations Center prasadam? this was thanks to efforts of Parikrama p. Rupa Bahu who came heavily laden with bags full of samosas, kacoris, lasagna, peas, cannelloni and everything that we wanted to spoil the team of assistants to GM.
Of course the first night
as it was Ekadasi, there were many loaves of potato and cheese and carrot Halava.
Sunday day 12th was the official reception at noon with a slight delay. Asanas were set up, 1 for GM and the others for SS Dhanvantari Swami and JagaJivan Prabhu. There were many devotees gathered, many under the tent in the courtyard of the restaurant. And they began to sing. We washed their lotus feet. Besides offering devotees spent petals at the feet of GM and reciprocated by distributing candy balls. All this with a cheerful reception Kirtan.
Then when given the word from GM, he said beautiful things that thrilled everyone especially revealing all their effort is to meet the mission of Srila Prabhupada and explaining that it is very difficult now because of physical difficulties (that GM said it literally crying ) and with energies that are only wanted to serve Srila Prabhupada.
But this made many also weep, as Goura Ekanath was translating all saw it and then when I pass the microphone GM to JaganJivan prabhu, he could not speak because of emotion, then passed the microphone prabhu JagaJivan to Dhanvantari Maharaja containing the great emotion he was able to continue saying sweet words on his part that his desire had been to attend this reception to GM, not having to be in an Asana beside him, but from the position of a spectator as the rest of the devotees to experience and immerse In the excitement of that unforgettable moment.
After this warm Welcome, GM was brought to the home to take his prasadam. This service was done mainly by m. Ganga Amrta Yasodanandanesvari dd and dd which consistently followed the directions of all the selected prabhu GauraNam bhoga, weighing every ounce in order to meet GM’s strict diet. Every day different devotees also helped them in this service.
That Sunday I help m. Caitanya Priya, who should return the next day at Mendoza.
After His Prasadam was a break nap and then was prepared to give Sunday class . This class was scheduled for 19:00 pm but finally took place at about 21:00. Even despite the cold time and the temple was packed and all hoping to see and hear the pure devotee of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
In fact the wait was very ecstatic that same day . Sunday is a special 12 hr Kirtan which was already planned before the class and it was at its peak when I sang. Gaura Ekanath especially when she sang the wife of P . JagaJivan enthusiastically.
The class was very beautiful and everyone was very attentive listening to the nectar and see how GM is like that despite the external difficulties maintaining a very powerful and far-reaching intelligence, being completely connected to what Krishna wants to convey through it and making it a instrument to reciprocate love with every one of those who interacted with him in the precise and sensitive that person needed. This is the quality of a spiritual master to be a transparent medium in the realization of the desire of Krishna.
Perhaps these aspects of GM some devotees had already noticed in previous years, but this time we also realized that after all that happened GM spiritual power was intact.
After the GM class we distributed prasadam to everyone.. After that he was taken to the home to rest. And although the home was no more than 20 meters from the temple, the way in which GM had to take some time delayed because GM was escorted and preceded by a large number of devotees trying to say something or ask some blessing. This was something sacred in every moment that when GM moved he could interact with 2 or 3 people or more as an opportunity for all is essential to connect with him.
That night he lay close to midnight and as the night he arrived in Santiago, immediately put his head on the pillow began to relax deeply.
