Guru Maharaja was in Malaysia for three weeks undergoing Hyper Baric Oxygen,
physiotherapy etc. He came back to India to take the last time treatment in
Chittoor on the 6th October. Chittoor is in between Tirupati and Bangalore.
So Guru Maharaja stayed couple of days in Bangalore.
Guru Maharaja just arrived today in the evening during Damodararotik time to
ISKCON Juhu to take part in the GBC Meetings. Guru Maharaja took darshan of
Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari, Sita Ram Laxman Hanuman and Gaura
Nitai Deities. He offered lamps to Their Lordships and to Srila Prabhupada.
Guru Maharaja has lost some weight as he is on some special diet and his
face seems to be a little better. He is tired from the travel.
Many senior devotees, Srila Prabhupada Disciples, GBC members, Mayapur
Managers have already arrived. There was BBT meetings between 4-8 which is
already finished today and the devotees who have come for this meeting are
leaving tomorrow.
The Mumbai Management has made the doorway of Guru Maharaja’s room bigger so
that his wheel chair can move in and out freely.
Nimai prabhu our Godbrother’s wife from Mumbai and another devotee had
prepared evening dinner for Guru Maharaja. A group of devotees were doing
soft Hare Krsna maha mantra kirtan while Guru Maharaja was taking his
dinner. As he was taking dinner different devotees came to meet Guru
Maharaja: Bhakti Purushottam Maharaja, Gopala Krsna Maharaja, Braja Hari
Prabhu, Sankhadhari Prabhu, Ekachakra prabhu and his wife Jahnava from
Taiwan, Hari Sauri Prabhu and Satyanarayan prabhu.
Satyanarayan prabhu recollected how Guru Maharaja and he had spent a lot of
time together in Mayapur engaged in devotional services. Guru Maharaja
commented, “I do not know how he tolerated me!” Immediately Satyanarayan
prabhu responded, “It is quite the opposite. I do not know how you tolerated
me!” Satyanarayan prabhu mentioned how he needed more man power to execute
his BBT services in different parts of the world. Guru Maharaja said if he
gets better then he could help him as he as some experience in this field.
Satyanarayan prabhu agreed. Guru Maharaja asked Satyanarayan prabhu to pray
for his recovery and Satyanarayan prabhu asked Guru Maharaja to pray for
him.
There was very nice loving exchanges between Guru Maharaja and these
devotees. All of them were happy to see Guru Maharaja and Guru Maharaja was
happy to see all of them.
He is planning to be in Mumbai until the 16th and then for couple of days
will visit Mayapur as 3000 + devotees, Radhanatha Maharaja disciples from
Chowpatty are visiting Mayapur. Then Guru Maharaja plans to take some
treatment for 2 weeks in Hyderabad.
