Mayapur Parikrama Day 2 , 27th February, 2012.

Today is the second take of the Parikrama. We started a bit late from the
temple and headed to the Russian party. But after the (bumpy!) ride when we
reached Naimisarnya where GM was supposed to speak to the Russian party, we
saw that they haSukad mSoved ahead and were on their way to Panca Veni.

H.H. Bhakti Chaitanya Maharaj saw GM entering and greeted him. So, GM
decided to goto the International party who were having darshan at
Gauradaha which is only 10-15 min drive from Naimisaranya.

Following a short update below on Srila Gurudev`s health and activities in
the past few weeks, there are two requests addressed to your goodself.

Guru Maharaj has been very active in Mayapur. As you may already know that
the ILS (International Leadership Sanga) of ISKCON was held for the first
time in Mayapur Dhama between the 10th – 17th Feb 2012. Gurudev actively
participated in the ILS sessions. Many leaders across the globe participated
in the ILS. The ILS meetings and seminars inspired all the participants.

Sunday, 26th February 2012.
Today was the first day of the Navadwip mandal parikrama. The number of
devotee’s every year is steadily increasing. This year we have 4 Parikrama
parties, i.e, International, Russian, Bengali and Hindi and close to 8,000
devotees registered for the parikrama.
Like the last year, GM would be visiting all the 4 parties every single day!
Guru Maharaj started from the temple at 7.30 Am and first headed towards
the Bengali party who were stationed at the Yogapith. The Bengali party
this year has 3000 registered participants and is being headed by H.H.
Bhakti Purusottama Swami and H.H Gauranga Prema Swami.

On the occasion of Lord Nityananda’s Appearance Day (5 Feb 2012) and Srila
Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupada’s Appearance Day (12th Feb
2012), I thought I would just say some things to all of you whose e-mail
addresses are with me.

This year in Mayapur, the GBC invited all of the Regional secretaries,
Zonal secretaries, and Temple presidents to attend a special session of ILS.
ILS stands for ISKCON Leadership Sanga. We had seven days of seminars,
parikramas, feasts, kirtans and classes with all the leaders. The GBCs also
were at the programs for the large part. There was a very nice exchange
between ISKCON Leadership Sanga and the GBC.
