Your servant, Kaunteya das
My dear Diksa, Siksa, Shelter, Aspiring disciples and well wishers,
Please accept my blessings. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to
Navadvipa Mandala!
Srila Prabhupada refers to a famous statement of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura
in one of his lectures wherein the Thakura asserts that Navadvipa Mandala is
the best place in the whole universe. Lord Chaitanya’s mercy is
all-pervading here. Our previous acharyas Jagannatha Dasa Babaji,
Bhaktivinoda Thakura, Gaurakisora Dasa Babaji and Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati
Thakura have stressed the great significance of Navadvipa Dhama.
Bhaktivinoda Thakura and Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura personally
developed the Dhama and conducted parikramas here. They wanted these
parikramas to be held every year. Srila Prabhupada, following in their
footsteps, ordered us to continue with the development of Navadvipa Mandala.
He personally led us on parikrama and ordered that we hold it every year.

TRANSLATION: Lord Brahma, Bhagavan Narada, Lord Siva, the four Kumaras, Lord
Kapila [the son of Devahuti], Svayambhuva Manu, Prahlada Maharaja, Janaka
Maharaja, Grandfather Bhisma, Bali Maharaja, Sukadeva Gosvami and I myself
know the real religious principle. My dear servants, this transcendental
religious principle, which is known as bhagavata-dharma, or surrender unto
the Supreme Lord and love for Him, is uncontaminated by the material modes
of nature. It is very confidential and difficult for ordinary human beings
to understand, but if by chance one fortunately understands it, he is
immediately liberated, and thus he returns home, back to Godhead.
HH Jayapataka Swami Guru Maharaja arrived on the 16th of December to
Mathuadesh and left for Shyamadesh on the 22nd.
Guru Maharaja stayed in the home of Buddhi Krishna das and Sakhikala
mataji’s home. Their home became open to all the devotees 24X7 for these
seven days, as devotees lovingly took turns to come and serve Guru Maharaja
and his secretaries.Whenever Guru Maharaja returned to this place after a
program or after a walk, he would jokingly ask Sakhikala mataji, “Does the
Svami stay here?!”
All Glories to Sri Guru & Gauranga…
All Glories to Srila Prabhupada…

So it is an small attempt, there may be many mistakes, please send me your comment and suggestions, I will try to correct it, I am now making for other months too, apart from that, without calendar, I am making lot of Posters of Guru Maharaj with his wonderful, inspiring words (quotes) from his lectures. *December 31st, 2011*
Guru Maharaj arrived from Damodardesh to Kanaiyyadesh on the evening of New
Year’s eve (December 31st). There were many devotees who went to receive
Guru Maharaja from the airport. This was the first time that Guru Maharaja
travelled the national Airways. The airlines misplaced Guru Maharaja’s
wheelchair in Damodardesh Airport. Guru Maharaja travelled all the way from
the airport without his personal wheelchair. Dr.Diwakar one of Guru
Maharaja’s aspiring disciples and Director for one of the biggest hospital’s
of Kanaiyyadesh brought a wheelchair from his hospital for Guru Maharaja.
Accompanying Guru Maharaja were his dear disciples and personal servants
H.G.Maha Varaha Prabhu and H.G.Tirtha Prabhu. Guru Maharaja stayed at the
house of one of his disciples living in Kanaiyyadesh named Narahari Dev
das. There were about 35 devotees waiting to receive Guru Maharaja at the
house, however we were advised by Maha Varaha Prabhu that Guru Maharaja is
extremely tired and that he will be unable to accept Pada Puja Abhisekh. We
were asked to vacate the house within 5 minutes of Guru Maharaja’s arrival.
However as merciful as he is, when Guru Maharaja came to the apartment, he
sat on the Vyasasana and spoke for nearly 10 minutes and addressed the
visiting devotees. After that he distributed dry fruit prasadam to all the
devotees who had come to welcome him, and blessed them by touching their
foreheads with the Toothbrush of Lord Jagannatha (from Puri).
