Guru Maharaja left to the gym in the morning. Guru Maharaja had his
breakfast before leaving and devotees were singing kirtan for Guru Maharaja.
At the gym Guru Maharaja was using all the equipments very nicely. The gym
Guru Maharaja visit is actually a well known franchise. It’s call True
Fitness. Guru Maharaja then took lunch at his residence. There was a roaring
kirtan while Guru Maharaja ate lunch. Many devotees came to visit Guru
Maharaja as it was a weekend. Guru Maharaja always looks happy to meet
devotees. After lunch Guru Maharaja gave out some Prasad and then went to
take rest. At 6pm, Guru Maharaja did his walking therapy with
Dr.Acyutananda. Guru Maharaja did very well. This therapy actually has Guru
Maharaja walking on his own with very minimal help from Dr. Acyutananda.

I am doing my therapies 5 days a week in the mornings at a centre where they
have balance training machines, robotic walking machines and hand training
machines also I do extra exercises with the therapists. I am also still
going to Gym and pool on alternative days and practicing walking with my
doctor and I have an excersise bike where I am staying.

Diary of Guru Maharaja – 01-Oct-10
Guru Maharaja left for the Lokomat therapy in the morning today. Guru
Maharaja is scheduled to give class in a center in Klang. Klang is about 30
minutes drive from Guru Maharaja’s residence. Bhakti Vrajendranandana Swami
was also scheduled to be at Klang. The devotees were very elated to be
receiving two great personalities at their center.
Bhakti Vrajendranandana Swami was already in Klang when GM arrived. The
welcoming for Guru Maharaja was grandly organised by the devotees in Klang.
Bhakti Vrajendranandana Swami first addressed the devotees. Maharaj also
glorified Guru Maharaja by saying that Guru Maharaja has been preaching all
over the world for the past 40 years with full dedication. Guru Maharaja
then addressed the devotees by first blessings all the devotees with strong
Krishna Consciousness. Guru Maharaja’s lecture was translated by HG Shanthi
Vardhana prabhu into Tamil. Guru Maharaja mentioned that he is very happy
that Bhakti Vrajendranandana Swami is together with him and Guru Maharaja
stressed that we are fortunate to have him with us. At this point Bhakti
Vrajendranandana Swami also said that we should be more fortunate that Guru
Maharaja is with us. Shanthi Vardana prabhu translated this also and Guru
Maharaja told him not to translate what Bhakti Vrajendranandana Swami said.
This is another display of humility by Guru Maharaja. Guru Maharaja did
not want everyone to hear his glorifications.

Monday, 27 September
The way to the house Guru Maharaja is staying was indeed scenic. The weather
was perfect and the trees in the surrounding area created a peaceful
atmosphere. This was a beautiful place for Guru Maharaja to stay. Guru
Maharaja was very happy that on his first day of arrival into Malaysia, he
could attend a ratha yatra festival. Guru Maharaja spent about 2 hours at
the festival and came back for a good rest at his residence, the bungalow of
HG Loka Swami das, a senior disciple of Guru Maharaja. Right after breakfast
Guru Maharaja left for therapy.

Sunday, 26 September
Guru Maharaja arrived at Kuala Lumpur at around 10.30am. There were many
disciples eagerly waiting to receive Guru Maharaja. Guru Maharaja said that
he slept only for 3 hrs previous night. Then showed that He was very tired.
From the airport Guru Maharaja went straight to the house (newly built house
of HG Lokaswami prabhu, given for Guru Maharaja and his servants to stay).
Even though Guru Maharaja was tired he spent time with the disciples who
were there at the airport asking about their well beings!!! And everybody
received Guru Maharaja’s blessings !! when one devotee said that Guru
Maharaja looked better and there is so much improvement Guru Maharaja
responded “your blessings” !!!

Diary of Guru Maharaja – 29th September

Guru Maharaja stayed in Mayapur since July for almost two and a half months.
He attended Kolkata Ratha yatra, Janmastami, Srila Prabhupada’s Vyasa Puja
and Radhastami festivals in Mayapur. In between he went for a week to
Bangladesh for the first time after his stroke. Due to urinary infection
Guru Maharaja was admitted in the Kolkata hospital for a week. Thus his
progress got regressed and he is working hard to regain his health recovery.
On 25th Guru Maharaja went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He will be there for 2
weeks and then he is planning to come back to India for Mumbai GBC meetings.

Yesterday was a hectic day for Guru Maharaja. Guru Maharaja left his
residence at about nine in the morning. A lokomat therapy was arranged for
GM. Lokomat is a robot-assisted walking therapy. It is a form of physical
therapy using a robotic device to help in learning to walk again for a
person whose ability to walk has been impaired as a result of stroke. Guru
Maharaja used the lokomat machine for more than one hour. Guru Maharaja
chanted Hare Krishna with every step he took during this lokomat exercise.
