We would like to inform you that His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Guru Maharaja is planning to give Harinam and Brahminical Initiations on Gaura Purnima, 2013. Devotees wish to get initiation during this occasion are requested to go through the following guidelines.

Date of Initiation: 27 March 2013 (Wednesday)

Devotees willing to take initiation on Gaura Purnima have to register with JPS office, for which the last date is 12^th March (Tuesday), by sending an email to: jpsoffice@pamho.net /or call on Phone: 03472-245277 during the office hours 10am -5pm.

For Harinam and Brahmin initiations; candidates need to write the philosophical test either under the supervision of the temple authorities under which they are practicing devotional service or they may write the test at the JPS Office Mayapur. The temple authority should conduct the test by taking all the measures to assess the individual philosophical knowledge or they may contact the JPS office for getting the details of conducting the philosophical exam for initiation.

Candidates who wish to take the exam at JPS office have to fix a convenient date for writing the exam. Usually the candidate has to write the exam a couple of days to enable the JPS office to supervise the test and evaluate the philosophical test followed by interview.

The last date of registration is 12^th March for the 2013 Gaura Purnima initiations. The candidates or concerned ISKCON temple authorities are requested to be in touch with the JPS office before booking the tickets to Mayapur for initiation purpose.

All are requested to co-operate with the JPS Office to ensure a smooth initiation event.

From Saturday,18th August 2012 to Sunday,16th September 2012, we observed
the Purusottama month,the month that has been personally adopted by Lord
Krishna. It is the month of pure bhakti, which is free from all karma and to
which the Lord has given His special mercy.

In the glories of Purusottama month, it says that if one observes this month
then one leads a fairly happy and comfortable life in this world, and at the
end of life goes back to Goloka Vrindavan. We hope that all the devotees
have had a transcendental and blissful time observing the Purusottama month.

A few days ago, we celebrated Radhastami. We are very thankful to Radharani
because She came and established Navadvipa dham. This beautiful dham of nine
islands, was not only created by Radharani, but She created it to attract
Krishna. Krishna was so blissful in Navadvipa dham that He decided to take
the form and mood of Srimati Radharani when He appeared. Therefore He
appeared as Lord Krsna in the combined form of Radharani, or Sri Chaitanya
Mahaprabhu. This holy dham is very special because it is constantly giving
out unlimited mercy. It is the audarya dham, or the holy place of mercy.
Vrindavan is the madhurya dham or the place of great sweetness.Jagannatha
Puri is the aishvarya dham, or the place of opulence.

His Divine Grace A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupad one time asked me to expand the propaganda of Krsna Consciousness unlimitedly. So after hearing the potential of social networking sites like Facebook, I thought I would try to see if I could make something grow viral. So I trying that by promoting a Facebook page called Transcendental Blessings and a Facebook app also called as Transcendental Blessings. Although there are many quotes from the Vedas if we find any appropriate and harmonious quotes from other scriptures we also may include that. So the idea is to attract many people and then from there later we will have a Bhakti Yoga page or some other suitable page. So we hope to offer the blessings of all the vaisnavas. Haribol.

In the month of July 2012, after staying in Mayapur, I went to Serbia for the national festival. This was my first visit to Serbia in about four years.Devotees from Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia, and other places came to see me. It was a very wonderful experience and the devotees gave me a very good reception.
My stay there was exceptionally ecstatic especially in the association of Sacinandana Maharaja, Bhakti VaibhavaMaharaja, Bir Krishna Maharaja, Prahladananda Maharaja, Kadamba Kanana Maharaja and others. After Serbia, I went to the

Russian Summer Bhakti Vrksa Festival in Moscow. There were about two or three thousand devotees in attendance. It was a very nice festival with Rathayatra, kirtans and dramas. All the devotees had brought their Deities.
They were put on display and worshiped there. There were hundreds of
Deities: Gaura-Nitai, Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra, and Radha-Krsna. I delivered some lectures. Naru Gopal Das and the ‘Mayapur Chandras’ were there leading kirtan. They also sang the song which I wrote as an offering to Srila Prabhupada for his Vyasa Puja this year. The translations of this song were read thereafter. It was a very nice experience to be unitedwith the devotees in Russia, CIS, and various other places nearby. Then after that I went to Birmingham, U.K. for the Rathayatra. There we had Rathayatra and the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, with his good wife, also attended the Rathayatra. In my speech I mentioned that Birmingham was the largest city in the U.K. Some people wanted to correct me saying that London was the largest. I said “No,Birmingham.” The Lord Mayor, he grinned and was very happy. He said, “Yes,Birmingham is the largest. London is divided into many boroughs like Greenwich borough, Westminster borough, this borough that borough, so as a result London is not such a big city because of the boroughs”. The crowd for the Rathayatra festival was large. The Bhakti Vrksa Festival for all of U.K. was also very well attended. I was fortunate that I had no leg infection this time, so I could attend all the programs. It was ecstatic to participate in these festivals.
