Diary of Guru Maharaja – Part 1

Dear Devotees,

Hare Krsna. Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila

Prabhupada. All glories to Srila Gurudeva.

First of all I would like to wish you all a very Happy Radhastami! He is now

in Sri Mayapur Dham to celebrate this most auspicious occasion. Today is

also the 39th Anniversary of Guru Maharaja’s Sannyasa!

After the Kolkata Rathayatra for 10 days in July, Guru Maharaja was in

Mayapur for 20 days taking the accupuncture therapy, physiotherapy, hydro

therapy and face therapy. For few days one of his aspiring disciple from

Manipal came to visit Guru Maharaja and since she was studying speech

therapy he took speech therapy from her for few days. In the evening Guru

Maharaja used to give question and answer session which was broadcasted over

internet. Guru Maharaja is happy when devotees see him over internet. If

there is any philosophical questions one can ask him over there. He always

would inquire how many are watching over the internet.

Offering the result to one’s Guru

Dear devotees

PAMHO. AGTSP. AGTSG&SG.

OFFERING THE RESULT TO ONE’S GURU

IT is an excellent idea to get as many disciples and wellwishers of Srila

Jayapataka Swami to observe Janmastami fast strictly and offer the result to

our beloved Srila Jayapataka Swami Gurudeva.

No one should doubt that this is authentic or factual, since Sri Hari Bhakti

Vilasa enjoins that a disciple can offer the result of a fasting vrata to

one’s guru, as verified in the following quotes from HBV sastra:
