Guru Maharaja came to Mumbai on the 18th of October from Chennai. Guru
Maharaja had appointment on 20th with doctors regarding his eye surgery.
Nothing has been decided yet by Guru Maharaja regarding this surgery. He is
still contemplating on it. After this appointment Guru Maharaja went to
Chowpatti ISKCON temple to give an evening class inaugurating the Damodar
month program. On 21st was the Indian Bureau meeting and starting from 22nd
was the RGB Meetings. HH Bhakti Caru Maharaja, HH Gopal Krsna Goswami
Maharaja, HH Bhakti Purushottam Maharaja, HH Bhakti Vinod Maharaja, Temple
Presidents and Zonal secretaries all over India have come to attend this
meetings.
Today is the last day of the RGB Meetings. Guru Maharaja’s Nustep
physiotheraphy machine was brought from Mayapur. Since Guru Maharaja needs
to be on regular physiotherapy and yet he wants to attend the meetings, Guru
Maharaja’s plan is to do the excercises on this machine while he is
attending both the RGB and GBC Meetings. In this way he can avoid also the
swelling of the legs while he has to sit long times for the Meetings. For
the first time today Guru Maharaja used this machine during the RGB
Meetings.
On 22nd, Guru Maharaja gave evening class in ISKCON Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari
Juhu temple. Guru Maharaja described the pastimes of Damodar lila. In
Damodardesh they keep increasing the goal every year. Chowpati also has
taken committment this year a certain number to engage new people in making
them to offer lamps to Damodara. This program is very dear to Guru Maharaja.
This is one of the special ways to bring new people into Krsna consciousness
as the result they gain is also multiplied.
Every evening between 8 and 9pm Guru Maharaja is giving class and is
broadcasted over the internet. Devotees can watch it online.
