Sanyas Cd Marathon

We have not received a go ahead yet from the authorities for this marathon. I am aware many of you are enquiring and always excited about this marathon. As soon as we hear from the authorities, we will keep you posted.

Disciple Update

Please can one of the disciples in USA give us an update on HG Bhava Bhakti mataji. The last we heard was that she was going to have her cancer treatment. Many disciples are enquiring. There has been a request that we should open a section for prayers and reporting illnesses and update of progress for our disciples. We are looking into this. Preparation for Kartik

Kartik is fast approaching. As you all know Damodar Programme was initiated by Guru Maharaj and as disciples it is our duty to continue this programme and serve in its growth and expansion. Under blessings of our Guru Maharaj and lot of inspiration from KUL

devotees, we have been conducting damodar prayers during the month of Kartik

from house to house. We already completed 3 years and this will be our 4th

year in succession.

In 2008, we could visit only 1,000 houses but in 2009, we visited 4,000

houses and last year we visited close to 6,000 houses. Its a different

transcendental experience all together taking Lord Damodar from house to

house and conduct the programme covering damodar lila, singing

damodarashtakam while offering lamp to Lord Damodar and speaking about our

movement. We make special chanting malas (with 27 beeds) for Japa session as

a part of this programme.

WE make lot of spiritual gift items like damodar booklet, damodar photo, CD

containing Damodar lila + damodarashtakam + some other vaishnav songs and

lectures + other spiritual gifts for the hosts. WE donot charge anything

from the hosts but by their own, they give donation which takes care of all

this expenditure.

Now all people wait for this month and they start booking in advance for

this festival.

We launch this programme every year on Janamashtami and this year too it was

launched on our pre Janamashtami big programe on 19th August.

WE request all yatras to take advantage of this holy month to spread the

name of the Lord Damodara and spreading our movement. We are ready to

provide any kind of assistance if any yatra wants to know more about it.

Help and Kirtaneer Group required for Damodar month Programme in Durban – South Africa
 

From the 12th Oct to 28th Oct we require a group of kirtaneers to help with the daily Damodar month programme. In the Kwa- Zulu area. We have also been invited to have this Damodar programme at a wedding taking place in Durban on 15th Oct for all the wedding guests.  We have arranged spots in some Malls in South Africa for people to come offer a ghee lamp. We require assistance for this as there is more than one Mall at a time. kirtaneers and Helpers to please contact jpsdisciples@pamho.net
