26 to 31 August 2011
“Mayapur, Cont ..”
Please accept our most humble obeisance.
All glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga.
Guru Maharaj is continuing His normal activities here in the Holy Dhama. He has begun to give regular Bhagavad Gita classes at night and ends with prasadam distributed to the attendees. Lots of devotees attend the class. On the morning of 26 th Aug guru puja was held in the great room of the Gada building so Guru Maharaj did not go into the temple. Also a lot of devotees attend the Guru Puja. Everyday Guru Maharaj takes Darshan of Their Lordships and in turn gives darshan to devotees who visit on the terrace.
His health continues to be unchanged like I have reported in recent reports.
Guru Maharaj continues doing His exercise on His machine ‘nustep’ and attends Gym every other day. Also continues with, speech therapy, and the facial therapy. At night He usually ends quite exhausted from all activities of the day, but the rest is pretty satisfactory.
Two nights ago while doing exercises on the machine,Guru Maharaj made a call to Romapada Swami then called Gopal Krishna Maharaja and the latter told Him that a meeting of the GBC leaders of India was to be held 2 September in Bangalore and to the surprise of Guru Maharaj as He had not been informed of such a meeting. Guru Maharaj asked Gopal Krishna Goswami if it was important for him to attend and Maharaja told it would be great. After much discussion, ultimately decided not to go because of the tight schedule as Guru Maharaj would have to be here in Mayapur for Radhastami this 5th September.
Also in the darshan room, Janaki has organised a video conference call on a big screen TV where Guru Maharaj can participate in important meetings with the leaders of the movement, especially in some cities in India. Guru Maharaj participated in a conference call meeting a few days ago and also does his exercises in the ‘nustep’ at the same time. This morning, 31 Aug He had another similar video-conference call. By using this system Guru Maharaj did not need to go to the meeting in Bangalore.
Well, I think this report has been one of the shortest I’ve written. So thank you for this “short service.” Hare Krishna.
The servants caring for Guru Maharaj.
