Dandavat pranams.
Today 24th of December, we had the mercy to receive His Holiness Jayapataka
Swami Gurumaharaja to Avataridesh. Gurumaharaja reached via Damodardesh
airport at 11:45 am. It took till almost 2 pm to get out from the
immigration section. His holiness is coming directly from Mathuradesh were
he was holding special programs for 5 days after been in Balaramdesh for 3
days. All very succefull yatras in the Middle East.
Accompanying HH JPS were Their Graces Mahavaraha das, Ekannath Gaura das,
Madhava Kanta das, Devagauranga das all expert in the service of
Gurumaharaja basically after his health problems and along with them is
Tirthapda Prabhu a young devotee from Malaysia who is the son of Sevananda
das Prabhu. He is doing this service from their own initiative while he is
on holidays.
Waiting at the airport were few devotees from Avataridesh, like Their Graces
Bahrup Narasimha das. Who is the Yatra leader. Prasadeswar Krsna das,
Dharanidara Varaha das, Prasadeswar Krsna das & Dharanidara Varaha das.
Also Her Grace Sudevi Rani dd who was helping in organizing the arrival and
coordinating with other about Gurumaharaja’s service while in this country.
Also was present Sriranghesh from Damodardesh who went with me to the
airport. He is the son of Parameswara Gaura das Gita & Parameswari dd. His
parents went later to Avataridesh. Also Urukrama Krsna das his wife
Sevapadma Mataji and their son Naman were present to welcome our beloved
Gurumaharaja in this very much awaited visit. In fact I had few days here
and in the various programs I had the mercy to be I have seen the eagerness
they have to receive HH JPS in these yatras.
We came by 4 cars to Avataridesh reaching at almost 5:00 pm at the house
of HG Sacidananda Govinda das prabhu & Her Grace Seva Shakti dd.
While I am writing these few words Gurumaharaja is taking rest. He will
have a night program in a main hall nearby this building where hundreds are
expected to attend, Gurumaharaja is going to give lecture and darsan to all.
Tomorrow there won’t be any special program except darsan at the same house.
As many people always ask me to tell them some pastimes about our beloved
Gurumaharaja, I just will say that just an hour ago when GM came out of the
bathroom and while trying to put him on his bed, we had the opportunity few
devotees to pull him back, but as u all know with my sense of humor I told
GM please now you make yourself lighter than the lightest so we can move you
smoothly, then he raised his hands and said, no..! I want to be heavier than
the heaviest, and in fact it was impossible for the 4 or 6 devotees of us to
move him, but when we failed and for sure laughing as we couldn’t move him,
I said Gurumaharaja please make yourself lighter and then he agreed and so
we could move his holy body which although been limited physically or sick
he keeps on preaching Krsna consciousness, and serving the mission of his
most divine Gurudeva, our founder Acarya HDG Srila Prabhupada with
enthusiasm and full dynamism in spreading the glories of Krsna.
HH Jayapataka Swami is expected after 26th for in Damodardesh attending the
devotees of Shyamadesh and Sivasanga desh while after 28th He will be
attending the programs organized by Damnodardesh Yatra as a special hall and
at Srivallabha prabhu’s house. After that on the 31st of December HH JPS
will travel to Kanaiyadesh Yatra and then after to Chennai. After this tour
Gurumaharaja is expected in Sri Mayapur dham.
Devotees are very much happy for this great opportunity of having the
association with a first class devotee as is our Gurumaharaja.
I wish to request all of you to please chant always extra rounds for the
health of Gurumaharaja and for the protection of the most sacred movement of
Lord Gauranga and basically now a days as special prayers are required for
the Bhagavad Gita case in Russia.
