I am submitting a short report on the activities of HH Jayapataka Swami on
23-02-09 while he is attending the festival in Sri Mayapur Dham. As many say
it is a miracle that our beloved gurudeva is here been the chief host of all
these activities to welcome and associate with thousands of devotees from
the world over.

I am posting in this text the transcription of the lecture of our beloved
Gurumaharaja HH Jayapataka Swami that he gave on the 23rd of february in the
main temple. We are adding the comment of the minister of book distribution

I would like to send a short report and pics on the second part of the
Mahaabhisheka of the Panca Tattva deities.
This year there was no pushpa Abhisheka. Therefore at 10 am the Maha
Abhisheka ended and HG Hari Sauri prabhu announced that we have 2 hours
break, then we come back to the get darsan and while there will be the main
aroti to the Deities.

HH Jayapataka Swami on 22-02-2009 at Sri Mayapur Dham
Dear devotees.
Dandavat pranams.
Today was a very active day for HH Jayapataka Swami, I can say it was more
then for any other person who has no health problems of the magnitude of the
one of Gurumaharaja, but it is amazing how Krsna gives him a lot of energy
and strength to participate in many activities, all for sure for the sake of
the devotees and for his mission of preacher.
HH JPS woke up early and after getting ready went to the temple during japa
chanting, then came back to the room as it was not advised to be during
darsan arati due to the crowd. During Bhagavatam class GM came back to the
temple and went to offer prayers to Srila Prabhupada then to Sri Panca
Tattva, he remained in front of the deities for long time, praying for the
devotees for sure, while HG Harivilas prabhu was giving Bhagavatam lecture
that GM after the Panca Tattva and Radha Madhava darsan went to hear the
lecture. The rest was his normal activity of breakfast and then took some
therapies.
38th Sri Gaura Purnima festival starts Sri Mayapur Candrodaya Mandir

With great happiness and joy we inform the vaishnava community that the Sri
Gaurpurnima festival in its 38th edition starts at Sri Mayapur Candrodaya
Mandir.
After The morning darsan arati program, all the devotee went to Srila
Prabhupada Park for the inaugural ceremony and flag hoisting that declares
officially the beginning of the most transcendental festival in the
universe. This festival was founded by Srila Prabhupada himself in the year
1972. For the gracious occasion we have the special visit of HG Balaji Swami
who is one of the head pujaris of Balaji Tirumala Mandir in Tirupati, who
did the official ritual ceremonies and chanted the special mantras assisted
by HG Bhadra Caru prabhu for the pleasure of Sri Sri Gaurnitai the presiding
Deities of this magnificent event.
Diary of HH Jayapataka Swami on 21-02-2009 at Sri Mayapur Dham.
Dear devotees,
Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir is not the same at all after the arrival of
HH Jayapataka Swami who has given more life and activity to this
transcendental place as it is the Headquarters of ISKCON. Many say it was
the biggest welcome event ever given to any devotee in the history of this
temple except for HDG Srila Prabhupada. Who is the founder Acarya and father
to all of us and the most merciful Jagath Guru as is His Divine Grace. Only
by his mercy is that we have back again with us our beloved Gurumaharaja HH
Jayapataka Swami, who have made hundreds of thousands of people come to
Krsna consciousness or at least hear the Mahamantra from his mouth and
inspiring them to follow the right path of devotion.

I’m sending few pictures with this article about the extraordinary arrival
of HH Jayapataka swami to Sridam Mayapur on teh 20th of february 2009.
I will elaborate one full report later on but wanted to share with you some
pictures about as per many says the biggest welcome ever to a devotee to our
ISKCON Mayapur, for the quantity of devotees and the gathering of many
devotees from all over the world. since more then 200 meters away from teh
main gate devotees, senior sanyassis and all GBC members were waiting since
almost 3:30 pm to receive Gurumaharaja, but it was till 6 pm as he had to go
to jagananath mandir to take darsan after taking bath,

Hare Krsna. Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila
Prabhupada. All glories to Srila Gurudeva.
We are so happy to inform the devotees that Guru Maharaja safely arrived to
Mayapur today. Guru Maharaja reached Kolkata airport at 11am and there were
many hundreds of local devotees receiving Guru Maharaja at the airport. At
12 noon Guru Maharaja was brought in his vehicle to Mayapur assisted by Dr.
Acyutananda prabhu, Ekanath Gaura prabhu, Maha Varaha prabhu and Bhadra
Balaram prabhu. Guru Maharaja had a lunch break on the way.
Guru Maharaja first stopped at Rajapur. He took a shower and had darshan of
his beloved Deities Sri Sri Jagannath, Baladeva and Subhadra Devi. Guru
Maharaja always recommends devotees’ to pray to these powerful Deities as
They perform many pastimes.

It is with a lot of happiness in our heart that we inform the devotees that
our beloved Gurumaharaja HH Jayapataka Swami is going to Sri Mayapur Dham
tomorrow Friday 20th of February 2009, to be present in the very
transcendental and great Mahaabhisheka to the Panca Tattva Bhagavan Deities,
that he loves and worship the most along with Sri Sri Radha Madhava asta
sakhis and Lord Narasimhadeva, the very merciful and presiding Deities of
our Sri Mayapur Candrodaya Mandir.
