I received a message at 9.30 pm from Guru Maharaja to announce about his class tomorrow (6-sep-09) morning at 8 am indian time. He will be giving SB class in ISKCON Delhi which will be broadcasted live on www.jpsvani.com and www.jpsoffice.com Last time when it was announced there was some technical difficulty and hence didn’t work out.
Also Guru Maharaja will be giving a class between 12.30 to 1.30 pm noon.

H.H. Jayapataka Maharaj was requested to give a lecture on the pastimes
of Nityananda prabhu on Phone for thousands of devotees listening to
him Live at Radha Gopinath temple, Chowpatty, Mumbai. He gave a
beautiful short class on the pastimes of Lord Nityananda.

The transcription of the above lecture is as follows:
So Lord Nityananda said, “You can build a ghat to facilitate people to bathe
in Ganges. In this way by facilitating people in their spiritual life you
get forgiven for offenses. So this is a secret for all of us by preaching
Krsna Consciousness we can be forgiven for all of our offenses. So Madhai
during the hottest time of the year when the Ganges was low constructed a
bathing ghat with his own hands. That was known as Madhai ghat. So this is
one pastime of Nityananda.
Another pastime is when Jahnava Devi was on the way to Vrndavan she stopped
at Ekachakra to see the birth place of Lord Nityananda, her husband. There
was a old man who was walking on the pathway. The old man: “Ha! Ha! Ha!
Nitai! Nitai! Nityananda! Nityananda! Why did you leave? The village became
empty without you.” Then they stopped him and asked, “Why you are saying,
Jaya Nitai! Jaya Nitai?” He said, “He was the life of the village here. He
could have taken our children. He could have taken mine. Why did Nityananda
go? When he left the village is dead. I am missing so much Nityandanda!
Nityananda! Nityananda! Haribol!” Lord Nityananda would be playing with the
children and the play would be of the different pastimes of the Lord. So
like this one day they were playing Rama Lila. Nityananda was playing
Laxman. He was hit by the arrow of Indrajit. He was lying unconscious. His
mother Padmavati came and she said, “Please come home and take prasad.”
Everybody was ready to go but Lord Nityananda was lying unconscious. Then
they called the father what to do. Father is Harai Oja. Call the
doctor………
Day 3 – January 25, 2009 (Morning)
My obeisances to HH Radhanath Swami, HH Chandramauli Maharaj. Srinathji
Prabhu’s father had helped me to get citizenship when I was rejected by the
communists of West Bengal to get citizenship of India.
HH Radhanath Maharaj and HH Gopal Krishna Maharaj kept praying for me so
that I can recover. I am especially indebted to HH Radhanath Maharaj who
kept doctors 24 hours keeping a watch over me in Hunduja hospital. After I
was released in Hinduja hospital, I went to Bhaktivedanta hospital where I
was doing different kinds of therapy. In Hinduja, I used to see sisters a
lot. In Bhaktivedanta hospital, I see more doctors than the sisters. They
are taking nice care of me. They are telling me all kinds of stories about
the hospital there. There was one Bengali lady and she had become completely
atheistic. Her father came to the hospital with cancer of the lungs. So the
spiritual care ladies asked her if she would like to read Bhagavad Gita for
her father. She was not interested, but they encouraged a lot and then she
was inspired. They got a Bhagavad Gita for her in Bengali and she was
reading it for her father. And she got a change of heart. She thought that
the spiritual people were just greedy and were doing for them, but she saw
they are selfless and she got inspired to practice. Eventually her father
left her body. She wanted the Hare Krishna people to perform the final
rights. And she sponsored one of the Monday programs in the hospital. In
this way they are making so many devotees at the hospital. May be I will
become a devotee. They are really touching the heart of many devotees. May
be some of the stories, it is not good to tell because some of the people
may be here as devotees now. They may feel embarrassed.
