Diary of HH Jayapataka Swami on 21-02-2009 at Sri Mayapur Dham.

Dear devotees,

Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir is not the same at all after the arrival of
HH Jayapataka Swami who has given more life and activity to this
transcendental place as it is the Headquarters of ISKCON. Many say it was
the biggest welcome event ever given to any devotee in the history of this
temple except for HDG Srila Prabhupada. Who is the founder Acarya and father
to all of us and the most merciful Jagath Guru as is His Divine Grace. Only
by his mercy is that we have back again with us our beloved Gurumaharaja HH
Jayapataka Swami, who have made hundreds of thousands of people come to
Krsna consciousness or at least hear the Mahamantra from his mouth and
inspiring them to follow the right path of devotion.

Dear devotees

dandavat pranams.

I’m sending few pictures with this article about the extraordinary arrival
of HH Jayapataka swami to Sridam Mayapur on teh 20th of february 2009.

I will elaborate one full report later on but wanted to share with you some
pictures about as per many says the biggest welcome ever to a devotee to our
ISKCON Mayapur, for the quantity of devotees and the gathering of many
devotees from all over the world. since more then 200 meters away from teh
main gate devotees, senior sanyassis and all GBC members were waiting since
almost 3:30 pm to receive Gurumaharaja, but it was till 6 pm as he had to go
to jagananath mandir to take darsan after taking bath,

Dear Devotees,

Hare Krsna. Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila
Prabhupada. All glories to Srila Gurudeva.

We are so happy to inform the devotees that Guru Maharaja safely arrived to
Mayapur today. Guru Maharaja reached Kolkata airport at 11am and there were
many hundreds of local devotees receiving Guru Maharaja at the airport. At
12 noon Guru Maharaja was brought in his vehicle to Mayapur assisted by Dr.
Acyutananda prabhu, Ekanath Gaura prabhu, Maha Varaha prabhu and Bhadra
Balaram prabhu. Guru Maharaja had a lunch break on the way.

Guru Maharaja first stopped at Rajapur. He took a shower and had darshan of
his beloved Deities Sri Sri Jagannath, Baladeva and Subhadra Devi. Guru
Maharaja always recommends devotees’ to pray to these powerful Deities as
They perform many pastimes.

It is with a lot of happiness in our heart that we inform the devotees that
our beloved Gurumaharaja HH Jayapataka Swami is going to Sri Mayapur Dham
tomorrow Friday 20th of February 2009, to be present in the very
transcendental and great Mahaabhisheka to the Panca Tattva Bhagavan Deities,
that he loves and worship the most along with Sri Sri Radha Madhava asta
sakhis and Lord Narasimhadeva, the very merciful and presiding Deities of
our Sri Mayapur Candrodaya Mandir.
