It is Vyasa Puja time and by the will of the Lord, for the first time ever our Guru Maharaja will be attending a celebration outside of Mayapur. We at the Los Angeles Temple are preparing all the needed to greet and receive all the vaisnavas attending, but we need your help in order to make a special celebration this year.

We need devotees who want to help to sponsor the prasadam and flowers for the Vyasa-Puja celebration in LA. One can sponsor as much as they like, every donation is welcome. We presently have some pledges from various devotees and Yatras, so any amount of money left form these donations will be given to Guru Maharaja for His personal expense.

The total bhoga cost will be US $3.800 for the three days of celebration and serving more than 300 devotees daily.

The total cost for flowers has been estimated to be $2000.

There are three Vyasa Asanas to decorate, one in the temple room, another asana for bhoga offering and one more that is set up at the tent.

There are three altars with three gates to decorate and a big temple room which will require lots of garlands. We will be making garlands for GM and for other senior Prabhupada’s disciples. There is also a tent to be decorated plus flower vases for the asanas, tent and GM’s apartment.

We will keep records of donors with their names and later on present the list to Guru Maharaja and to those who do request it.
